The school´s website
The 11th Lyceum Peristeriou is a state Greek general senior high school located in Peristeri, a western suburb of the Greek capital, Athens and established in 1983.

Its teaching follows the Greek educational system curriculum and aims at university entry. Generally speaking despite not being among the big schools, it has a solid reputation for high academic performance; the students though coming from low income families, almost all of them, after having sat for exams successfully, enrolled to universities in Greece and abroad, upon graduation. The impressive alumni shows distinguished members since a considerable number of academics, businessmen/women and other prominent members of society have graduated from our school.

Besides our school being motivated by its innovative teachers has shown a considerable presence in both National and European programmes and contests and has been awarded several times with national prizes, even selected twice to represent Greek student community in events and plenary sessions organized by the  European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels and later in Strasbourg.

Science classes are fully activated with a significant participation to Masterclasses and Science Festivals, while Sports have always been encouraged and are an important part of our school life experience despite the limited athletic facilities available. In addition the theatrical performances have been “a tradition” for years adding several National Contest prizes to our school remarkable account and history.
